On-Site Support: On site support services are included in our rates, which is billed at a one hour minimum, and in quarterly hour increments thereafter. If you are within a 20 mile radius of my office, you will not be charged for travel time, nor mileage. Customers beyond this primary service area pay a reduced rate for travel time beyond the 20 mile mark, as well as the mileage beyond the 20 mile mark.
Drop Off/Pick Up: When dropping your computer off at a convenient location makes better sense, service work on your computer(s) is billed in quarter hour increments with no minimum charge. Bartleby's Bookstore has been the convenient drop off zone. Given the flood damage to downtown Wilmington, and the bookstore, a drop off zone is currently unavailable, but Bartleby's is expected to return near Thanksgiving 2012.
Remote Support: If you can get your computer onto the internet, I should be able to access your computer from my office with a few moments of your time. Once in I can experience your issues first hand and can resolve or better diagnose your issues. Remote support sessiosn are billed in real time beginning when we connect, and ending when my work is done.
Memory Upgrades: On site installation of memory upgrades are performed for $20 for clients within a 20 mile radius. If other services are required during the same visit, time is billed using the on-site formula instead of this one-time charge.
